Ice Fishing Report-January 21st, 2024. Jan 21, 2024. It's been a battle this past week. I think all those nice December days finally caught up to us. Old man winter needed to remind us of that. Not only did old man winter get our attention, but it also made the fish mad. Especially the perch this past week.Dec 11, 2022 · December 11, 2022. . Finally have a few days on the ice guiding up here on Devils Lake. The cold snap definitely firmed up the ice and I’d say we have on average 10 plus inches all over the lake. Quite a few ridges out there, most are quiet at the moment, but with the snow they are forecasting that will change also. Fish Are Willing!! Along with this clean ice, we have found willing fish as well. Not super Toads but a lot of mediums to mid sized Jumbos! $40.00 – 12-4-22. We were in 30ish feet and 23 feet, the last two days. Sunday was flooded timber and today was just a little bay off a ledge.Under 30 feet of water and there were some TOADS! $30.00 – Dec 15 2023. These were from about the deepest water we have been in as of now.
