All of a sudden after playing a regular season game it reset my level and changed my position in the menu to a quarterback.

EA knows about this issue and has released a patch for it but it appears to have done nothing. Ive actually found a workaround for this issue, you need to use "manage saves" instead of using the "continue" option. Then you can go to your position of choice and load it manually and that stupid position change issue shouldnt occur.
