Our History. The Strang Funeral Home of Antioch began in 1912 by Leland Strang. In 1933, a move was made to the current location which at the time was the Charles Thorn Farm house. There were two acres of ground that gave room for the expansion in 1941.A visitation and a memorial service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, with a memorial service commencing at 3:00pm.
