Found the solution. Amazon OTP sends text messages using a short number code - anywhere from 3 to 6 digits. If you inadvertantly block one of those numbers, it blocks the OTP texts. I must have done so accidentally when I was blocking the scam emails from "Amazon Driver Chat". Found the solution.
